Ingredients
3 – 4 pound turkey breast with skin, rolled widthwise and tied with butcher's string
¾ cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
1 cup ketchup
¾ cup water
¼ cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 small onion, diced
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 450° F.
- Place turkey breast in Pyrex baking dish.
- Combine sugar, ketchup, water, oil, vinegar, soy sauce and onion. Pour over turkey.
- Bake, covered, for one hour. Reduce oven temperature to 350° F and bake, uncovered, for 30 to 40 minutes, or until done (internal temperature should read 170° F with meat thermometer).
- Tent with foil and let rest for 15 minutes. Slice and serve covered with the pan sauce.
