Easy, quick and flavorful. Great for a quick, middle of the week meal, coupled with roast potatoes and salad.
Ingredients
3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 ½ tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
1 scallion, white part only, minced
1 ½ pounds London Broil (filet split)
Preparation
- Combine soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic, ginger and scallion in a glass casserole dish. Place meat in marinade and turn. Cover and refrigerate several hours to overnight, turning once or twice. A Ziploc bag also works well for this step.
- Let meat come to room temperature for 20 minutes. Broil or grill to desired level of doneness. Remove from heat and let sit for 10 minutes so the meat can re-absorb its juice, then slice thinly and serve.
